Production Log: 19th November 2014
Today in the lesson I have analysed the front cover, contents and double page spread of 4 Music Magazines. From this I learnt the different aspects of what need to be in a magazine. A very significant thing I found out was that for more well known magazines the headline doesn't need to be fully shown and can be slightly covered therefore meaning the main image is the most important thing on the front cover. Also I need to include other things like advertisement, other stories etc. Also for the double page spread I thought it would be 2 pages of writing but actually it was a large picture of the artists on one page and then writing on the other. Next lesson I am going to refocus on my artist and also start to begin drafting my magazine, my mast head need to bold exciting and memorable.
